Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
what it is
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) is a gentle, light-touch approach that works directly with the nervous system, tissues, fluids, and the deeper organising forces within the body.
Rather than using force, manipulation, or trying to "fix" you, this work listens. Through deep stillness, presence, and awareness your system is supported to settle, regulate, release tensions, and reveal patterns that may be held physically, emotionally, or within the nervous system itself. This may be noticed in (or after) a session through: sensations and movement, deeper breathing, tensions in the body relaxing, a gradual settling of mental busyness. Emotions and memories can arise, but don’t always. Temporary discomfort may occur as physical patterns in the body — from injury, pain, or structural imbalances — begin to shift.
The body is inherently intelligent—constantly adapting, compensating, and attempting to return to balance. Sometimes, however, stress, chronic illness, trauma, injury, or long-term overwhelm can create layered patterns that the body has not yet been able to fully process or unwind. This work creates the safe conditions for those patterns to find completion and begin reorganizing naturally, at a pace your system can genuinely integrate.
All of my work — craniosacral therapy especially — is informed by: anatomy, understanding of physical and metaphysical body function, how nervous systems process stress and trauma, epigenetics, environment, embryology, generational patterns of mind-body health, and perception, consciousness and spiritual perspective.
I offer biodynamic craniosacral therapy from my home clinic in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast, providing a quiet, private setting where sessions can unfold at a pace your system allows. I also offer sessions online.
how it works
During an in-person session, you remain fully clothed and lie comfortably on a treatment table — or if our session is online, choose a comfortable space and resting position. My approach has been developed through deep anatomy and physiology understanding, and intuitive perception.
By placing light, supportive hands on areas such as the head, spine, or feet, I work in collaboration with your body’s wisdom. Through this gentle, sustained presence, the overactive mind is quieted, and the nervous system is invited to drop into a profound state of rest. This state is the healing state, the same as is accessible during sleep. Many people experience sessions as deeply calming, grounding, clarifying, or releasing. Because it is entirely body-led, the process is unique for each individual.
While no energy is ‘put into’ or transferred into the body during Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, there is no denying that compassionate touch, attentive presence and intention can evoke profound responses in the body. Touch is vitally important for healthy infant development, and remains so through adult life too. Gentle, respectful touch can support a sense of safety and connection, while the quality of the therapeutic relationship itself may influence the nervous system and create the conditions for relaxation, regulation and release. In this way, the work is less about doing something to the body and more about creating a supportive environment in which the body's own capacity for regulation and integration can emerge.
From a biology and biophysics standpoint the energy of the body can be understood through concepts such as: the extracellular matrix, fascia, mechanotransduction, electrical signalling, and bioelectromagnetism which describe ways that biological information and forces can move through living tissue.
who this work is for
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy supports the whole person. As a somatic therapy it is beneficial for integrating body, mind and emotions, particularly if you have felt unable to shift the patterns of your experience despite trying other treatments, or if you feel a sense that your system hasn’t been able to fully reset after a major life event. We can be subconsciously in a state of ‘fight or flight or freeze’ if our nervous systems have remained activated and unable to complete subtle patterns of our previous experience (this need not be conscious material, hence why you may have symptoms or experiences you can’t quite put your finger on).
You may find this work deeply supportive if you are navigating:
1. Nervous System & Mental Fatigue
Burnout, chronic stress, or long-term overwhelm
Anxiety, panic, or emotional dysregulation
Disrupted sleep patterns, insomnia, or an inability to rest
Brain fog, mental fatigue, and high sensitivity to stress or environmental inputs
2. Physical Tension & Unresolved Pain
Chronic or layered pain patterns that haven't shifted
Neck, back, or TMJ (jaw) tension
Headaches, migraines, and fascial restriction
Recent or unresolved injuries, post-surgical and dental procedure support
3. Complex Health & Systemic Imbalances
Chronic fatigue, low energy states, or recovery from long-term illness
Autoimmune, inflammatory, or metabolic-related conditions
Digestion and immune imbalances
Respiratory, skin and other allergies and sensitivities
A mind-body (heart + soul) approach to healing
Physically: may help relieve deep-seated physical tension, support healthy flow of the body’s fluids, and encourage structural alignment.
Mentally & Emotionally: support softening of the stress response, offer a safe container to process stored trauma, ease nervous system dysregulation, and rebuild capacity to handle life’s experiences with resilience again.
Energetically: can reconnect you to your body's innate intelligence, bring a greater sense of embodiment, balance, and inner clarity.
Intuitive soul sessions
“This work is less about seeking answers from outside of yourself, and more about remembering the truth your soul already holds.”
Intuitive Soul Sessions offer a space to explore the subtler dimensions of your experience through intuition, awareness, and deeper self-understanding.
These sessions can take different forms depending on where you are and what you feel called to explore. You may come seeking an intuitive reading, guidance through the complexities of spiritual awakening, or mentoring to deepen your own intuitive abilities. At the heart of each is an invitation to understand yourself more deeply, connect with your inner knowing, and navigate your unfolding with greater clarity and trust.
Depending on your intentions, our work may draw on the Akashic field, shamanic journeying, intuitive perception, or reflective exploration. These approaches can offer different perspectives on your experiences, the patterns shaping your life, and the possibilities emerging before you.
the experience
Each session is intuitive, collaborative, and responsive to where you are. We begin with what is present for you, whether that is a particular question, an experience you are trying to understand, a period of spiritual change, or a desire to develop your intuitive awareness.
From there, the session unfolds according to your intentions. An intuitive reading may bring forward symbolic imagery, soul themes, past-life perspectives, or insights into current circumstances. If you are navigating spiritual awakening, we may explore what you are experiencing, find ways to understand and integrate emerging awareness, and bring greater grounding to your process. If you wish to develop your own intuition, our work may focus on refining your perception, recognising how intuition speaks through you, and learning to discern and trust what you receive.
Insight may arise through symbolic imagery, emotional resonance, visual archetypes, intuitive impressions, or practical reflection. The process is not about fitting your experience into a predetermined framework, but about exploring what feels relevant and meaningful to you.
The intention of these sessions is not to offer lofty predictions or prescribe a particular spiritual path. It is to support your own agency, discernment, and inner wisdom.
We may explore overarching soul themes, past-life perspectives, recurring patterns, or possibilities for your future when these feel relevant to your intentions. Equally, the work may centre on making sense of a current experience, integrating a shift in awareness, or cultivating your own intuitive capacities.
Ultimately, the aim is to help you develop a deeper relationship with yourself and your own inner guidance, recognise the patterns and possibilities present in your life, and move forward with greater clarity, groundedness, and trust in your unfolding.
when to seek an intuitive soul session
Many people find these conversational deep-dives incredibly supportive when they are navigating:
Seeking an intuitive reading: Exploring a question, recurring theme, life direction, or deeper soul perspective through Akashic insight or shamanic journeying.
Navigating spiritual awakening: Making sense of shifts in awareness, unusual or unfamiliar experiences, or a deepening sense of spiritual connection, while finding ways to remain grounded and integrate what is emerging.
Developing your intuition: Deepening your intuitive awareness, exploring how you receive intuitive information, and cultivating discernment and trust in your own abilities.
Exploring recurring patterns: Bringing fresh perspective to persistent emotional or relational dynamics, or experiences that leave you feeling stuck.
Seeking deeper alignment: Connecting with your sense of purpose, understanding what is unfolding in your life, and developing a stronger relationship with your own inner knowing.
Student + practitioner mentoring
A reflective support space for students and emerging practitioners of Craniosacral Therapy who are wanting guidance, integration, and deeper understanding within their practice journey.
Training in this work can be profound. Alongside learning anatomy, technique, and perceptual skills, many students also find themselves navigating shifts within their own nervous system, perception, healing process, confidence, and practitioner identity.
These sessions offer space to slow down and explore the subtler layers of the work in a grounded and supportive way.
Areas we may explore include:
developing perceptual awareness and presence
understanding nervous system dynamics in practice
working with sensitive or complex client presentations
practitioner regulation and self-awareness
confidence, intuition, and finding your own way of working
integrating anatomy, biodynamics, and intuitive perception
reflecting on sessions, client dynamics, learning experiences, and keeping clinical notes
holding space without force, fixing, or over-efforting
the business side of setting up practice
My intention is not to teach a rigid approach, but to support students in developing deeper trust in their own perception, presence, and relationship with the work.
You will be supported by a fully qualified Dip. BCST practitioner bringing over 700 hours of specialised Biodynamic Craniosacral training, more than 200 hours assisting within the classroom training environment, and 5 years in active clinical practice.
My approach combines deep somatic inquiry with real-world application. Having navigated my own journey through chronic illness recovery, intuitive development, and a 15-year career in business banking, I offer grounded mentorship that supports both the subtleties of your clinical touch and the practical realities of building a viable practice.
